Custom domains

Every app gets a generated URL when it first deploys. To use your own domain instead:

Point your domain

1. Open the app → Settings → Custom domain, enter the domain (e.g. shop.your-domain.com) and Save.
2. At your DNS provider, create a record for that name pointing at your app:
   • a CNAME to your app’s current URL hostname, or
   • an A record to the same IP that hostname resolves to.
3. Wait for DNS to propagate (usually minutes). A TLS certificate is issued automatically the first time the domain is reached: no certificate work on your side.

Note

Enter the bare hostname (shop.your-domain.com), not a URL: https:// is handled for you.

Going back

Clear the field and save to return to the generated URL. The old domain simply stops routing to the app once your DNS record is removed.
